This software helps unlock Adobe PDF formatted files that are protected by password’s "owner". However it cannot remove the "user" password.
Adobe PDF Unlocker Software can be used to remove securities & restrictions from Adobe Acrobat PDF files. These protections can be removed if "owner" password is set. Once it is removed through the very simple interface, you can edit contents of the file, print, select text & graphics for transfer through the clipboard and add or remove annotations if you need to. PDF Unlocker Software is capable of removing restrictions from PDF files created with Acrobat version up to 9. It can remove “owner” password even with 128-bit or 256-bit encryption. All other restrictions regarding printing, copying, editing etc. then can be removed easily. Most of Acrobat documents can be handled and the program will work in most Windows environments including Windows 7.
The interface could not have been simpler. There are just three buttons. One helps browse for file to convert. The next button helps specify an output path and the last of the buttons simply says "unlock PDF file". While I can imagine this to be useful in many business situations, and this can prove very useful, it is almost too much of a temptation to subvert restrictions that try to protect copyrights. You need to be very aware of what is permitted and what is not as per copyright laws. While the trial version limits you in terms of how many files can be unlocked, the full licensed version can handle unlimited number of PDF documents.
